Revision as of 11:56, 9 October 2025
While there are plans to offer Resonite from various sources (such as alternate storefronts or as a first-party download), it is currently distributed through the Steam storefront.
Windows
Download and install via Steam. That's it!
Linux
Resonite is currently in a playable state on Linux, with some incompatibility functionality.
Some custom configuration, however, may be required. Detailed instructions are as follows:
- Install Resonite from the Steam store page.
- Access the Properties page for Resonite:
- Desktop - Right click on Resonite in the left-side list in your Library, then select Properties...
- Big Picture Mode/Steam Deck - Open the Resonite detail page, then navigate to Gear Icon -> Properties...
- Navigate to the Compatibility page.
- Enable Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool.
- Select Proton 10.0-2 or higher.
- Start the game.
Issues
When launching Resonite, the logo will appear as a test card; however, Resonite should start as expected. This is currently a known bug.
Additionally, some features, such as the desktop mirror and clipboard functionality, may not work as expected.
