The HierarchyMaterialTarget signals that an object you are hitting with the Material Tool is an appropriate target to look for materials in.

persistent Bool Determines whether or not this item will be saved to the server.
UpdateOrder Int Controls the order in which this component is updated.
Enabled Bool Controls whether or not this component is enabled.

Usage

Examples

If this component is applied to the root of an avatar, when a material is applied to the avatar it will look for any mesh renderers in the hierarchy and apply the material.
