Description
Metaverse Academia (MA) Resonite Campus is a public resource for all who would like to learn the in and about the metaverse. Including Avatars, Workspaces, Classroom, Resource HUB, Safe Space and more.
World Content
CAMPUS RULES
This Campus is strictly safe for work, open to minors and all cultures. Respect and adhere to Resonite's TOS. Be respectful and considerate to others. MA Faculty have full rights to kick anyone from the session if needed. Keep overly sensitive/personal topics of conversation to whisper bubbles or private worlds.
Main Buildings on Campus
HUB
The main resource and information center. The HUB contains 5 floors, Lobby, Tools, Worlds, Folders, and Lookout. Each Floor contains a teleport pad to move with ease between floors located near the doors.
- Lobby - Information about the Academy and the Metaverse Community (info and external links to Discord groups, Youtube channels, LinkTrees, etc). Basic ‘How-To’ information for new players (ex: controller and movement guides).
- Tools - Walls organized by category, containing cloudspawners for official and community tools on the Resonite platform.
- Worlds - Many world orbs, locally culled and organized into categories.
- Folders - Public folders within Resonite, being anywhere from user folders to group folders to public asset folders.
- Lookout - Top floor of the HUB, open wall and space for meetings.
Avatar Workspace
A workspace that mainly focuses on avatar. The Avatar Workspace is made of hexagon floors where the hexagon floor in the middle contains the following culled resources; Avatars that can be cloudspawned for instant use, optimized video player of Avatar tutorials, a mirror, An optimized free customizable mascot. Avatar tutorial guides, Cloud spawning tool wall, and more!
Safe Space
A comfortable and creative place to socialize. Using a different skybox and visually ‘cozy’ surroundings, we created a comfortable and colorful space with spawnable art tools and a mirror. This space is designed to be a place to allow players to let your mind rest briefly from work or stressors. The alternate skybox allows for the mind to escape for a moment.
HEX Gridspace
An open gridspace area of campus. Gridspace are often used by many to work on things in an open and optimized space. Gridspace are also quite often used as large open spaces for testing tools, locomotion, and vehicles.
Lecture Hall
A building designed for one large speaker to speak to an audience.
Workshops/Classrooms
Large section of open campus dedicated to classes and workshops. Classrooms themselves may be cloudspawned and customized.
