Nerd Sniping is an abstract concept that happens when a user asks a silly or seemingly stupid question (mostly technical in nature), either to one or many users simultaneously in the hopes of getting the answer or solution to a problem.
The ethics of doing this is currently unknown, and sometimes users dont even know that they are doing it when they ask questions like this.
