The Tech Tree is a diagram created and updated by ProbablePrime during his Office Hours to help explain:

Feature dependencies
Feature status (to-do, in progress, or done)
Who is working on what

The tech tree diagram is drawn in Obsidian with the plugin Excalidraw.

Disclaimers

The Tech Tree is designed as a communication tool and doesn't represent any promises of dates, times or ETAs on purpose. This keeps the tree nimble and fairly low stress to update.

As labeled on the chart, since its First Version , the Tech Tree is "Made by Prime, Might be Wrong". But as it grew, it needed some more formal Disclaimers here on the wiki:

- When it hasn't been edited recently.
- When a mistake or miscommunication occurs.
It might be out of date
- When it hasn't been edited/upload recently.
- When a mistake or miscommunication occurs.
It does not represent reality
- It is a discussion tool
- Things may be more complex.
- It is presented at Prime Time, to help navigate common questions.

History

File Lost

In early 2026, ProbablePrime got a new computer, in the upgrade process he lost the Tech Tree's original file. It was restored manually and uploaded to the wiki in June 2026.

It is now automatically backed up, with his other automated backups.
