The Avatar Station is a world published by USFN, created by Nuki Raccoon, based on an earlier version of the world by Skywind Kitsune. It is intended as a tutorial world for new users to get an avatar and learn how to edit them, and is used heavily by the Mentors as a place to send users looking for an Avatar.

The world can be accessed with:resrec:///G-United-Space-Force-N/R-e02565ca-b2aa-431c-82bd-9c7670713df8,however, it is recommended that users join one of the 3 dedicated Headless Servers which run the station, to avoid using their own resources to host and to maximize the likelihood of help being available.

Description

The world features a large space-station themed help center, intended to contain everything necessary for a new user to be prepared to understand the creation of Avatars in Resonite. The aesthetic of the interior is intended to feel like an automated post-modern welcome-center, as well as a hangout space, in order to show off some of Resonite's graphical capabilities while help users to feel comfortable using the space for both information and hanging out while waiting to help a new user.

World Content

The station has 4 main sections.

The user spawns into a secluded alcove of a larger lobby, separated by a large sign which greets them and explains that the world may take time to load, informing new users that collision has to load before they can move. The other side of the sign has a lobby area with a control panel and a "Mirror Dweller's Lounge", which serves as a meeting space for players to carry out any conversation or anything unrelated with the other sections, or for mentors to wait for new users.

From the lobby, hallways with their own info panels branch into the other sections, which all contain content for new users.

The "Avatar Gallery", in the back, contains more than 40+ avatars to choose, along with simple "NeoRoid" and "NeoFur" avatar creator tools located on each ends of the section.

The "Avatar Workspace" section, on the side, has a work area with tutorials to assist new players with editing a pre-existing avatar.

The "Explore Resonite" section, which is currently under development, contains information on finding other worlds and content.
