Introduction
General Info
Hello, everyone! My name is Themoviea. I am a South Korean who loves to work on computer programming (Python and Java) to create cool and interesting projects like making an AI assistant. I also love games that brings me total creative freedom. This included games like Minecraft and Roblox. Soon, the list expanded into VRChat and Resonite. I initially discovered VR through the rise of Beat Saber, The Virtual Reality Show, and a movie called Ready Player One. I was initially interested at first and looked at her channel occasionally. However, I lost interest soon after due to real life work. Years later, I decided to check out her channel again and was immediately hooked again. At the time, I was at the age where I wanted to do new things and experience new things. VR wasn't an exception. That is why I got hooked into VR once again. Then I discovered another YouTube video published by a group known as "Helping Hands." This made me want to try out VR and see what new things it would bring me.
Resonite
After playing in VRChat for a while, I decided to look if there are more platforms out there that had some similarities to VRChat. After scouring through Steam, I found a platform which was Resonite's predecessor and got me hooked because it had everything I expected a VRgame to have, just like in Ready Player One. I remember I decorated my "home," which was actually just a floating magic neon disk in space with cubes orbiting around it, with sofa and a desk full of world orbs. That was the real deal for me. It felt like I was in Ready Player One, like Parzival. However, real life work got me again and soon I had to leave this platform for a while.
Couple of months later, I looked back to see how the platform was doing. It closed?!?! I was surprised. Then, the spiritual successor called Resonite was announced. I migrated my original account to Resonite and decided to try out VR again. It brought freshness and excitement, which was something that I needed. It felt like Ready Player One all over again! The game also offered a revolutionary feature, which was that it has an actual "home" looking world now. (lol) I went back to decorating my new home world and decided to build a new world. Although I haven't done much yet, I am excited to do more cool things with this VR platform! Maybe even do some tech projects with this platform as well? Who knows? The sky is the limit!
That is the basic information about me and my relationship with VR. Although this page may look wordy and unorganized, I think it perfectly described who I am and why I love VR. Thank you to the developers and every single contributors for making this game into what it is! I see a bright future ahead for this game!
