Spotlight was a fundraising music festival hosted within Resonite that ran on November 30 2024, at 5PM EST.
The recipient of the donations was Project Hope, helping victims of hurricane Helene and Milton, the event gathering 281 USD as of 2024/12/02[2].
The Wednesday prior to the event, the Resonite Team conducted a stress test of the Headless Server Software, reaching a total of 123 users within a single session, breaking the previous record of around 65 users by The Bassarisk[3][4].
Event
The main event consisted mainly of a livestream, accompanied with an array of officially-hosted sessions users could join to watch it.
All of those sessions ran on the Resonite Spotlight world.

Several artists were set to appear on Spotlight:

- TMFJonny
- YonKaGor
- Corbelle
- Starheart
- Sol Major
- Alex Gråey
- SYNTHIA
Sadly, due to health reasons, WHSPRS couldn't make it to the event.

Issues
Several issues happened during the event, including some worlds having their stream player break, the stream not having audio at times, and having a desync between sound and image.
