From Resonite Wiki

This would describe the reasoning behind Resonite design choices. From why is it a floating sky island based map, why everything has sails, why the Golden ratio, why things are certain colors, and so forth.

This quote may imply that the players are actually souls, and their avatars a container for what a "Resonian" may truly be.

Some other notes:

  • World orbs also show their destination, kind of like a portal into another world.
  • Everything is built with circles
  • The blue/rainbow/(Or other coloured) crystals much in abundance seem to be a source of power and may be involved in giving things like the dev tools their power. There may be a correlation between the colours and how 'powerful' each crystal is. For example: Dev tool vs. colour picker.

Facets are called this due to Resonite's crystal/jewel themes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facet

Resonite's UIX is named after the Radiant Cut in Lapidary. This is also related to the assorted gem themed names (Such as 'Facets') and crystal materials used through the official worlds/tools.

There is also a connection between 'bread day' and the 'Baguette cut', but 'Baguette' was replaced with 'bread' as it sounded more like 'birthday'. (Source: Randomly talking to Froox and the subject came up.)

Prototypes

A prototype of the cloud home. Not implemented due to bleeding of lights between floors.

The art team did many of the drawings seen on the tables in the cloud home, including 3D concept drawings using Resonite in game toolsets which are in Ryuvi's possession at the time of this writing.
