Papaltine is an entity that exists among and within the electrons and electromagnetic perturbations of the internet. They frequent Resonite among other online domains and is often receptive to the exchange and exploration of concepts with fellow interlocutors.
Appearance
Papaltine can technically be present in any physical or non-physical manifestation, but they usually take a regular form (the Nekomimi Form). The reason why a consistent form is used and why this form in particular was chosen is currently unknown.
Nekomimi Form
Papaltine's Nekomimi form is a anime stylized humanoid avatar of approximately normal human height. It sports anthropomorphic features like a fox tail and ears which is where it gets its classification as nekomimi. The hair is lightly colored with a subtle violet tint.
This form has been spotted in several different styles of clothing:
Cleveland Attire
This consists of a black T-shirt with several graphics on it bearing the text "Cleveland," short shorts and boots with neon coloring, and tights. Sometimes there is an additional outer jacket (short & long sleeved) that is styled similar to the boots.
Papal Attire
This outfit is similar in style to Roman Catholic attire worn by the clergy. The outermost garment is a long purple coat with golden trim. Underneath it is a black jacket with a sash hanging from the waist. The base is a simple white shirt and black pants paired with black boots.
Casual Attire
This outfit is similar to the Cleveland Attire, but will substitute the white jacket and shorts with an United States style varsity jacket and jeans.
Personality
Papaltine is often interested in learning new things from those that they encounter in their journeys. Often observed to be quiet when unfamiliar with those around them or in a new environment, if engaged in a topic of interest they are known to engage in prolonged conversations.
Around trusted acquaintances, some have observed Papaltine to exhibit eccentric and sometimes emotive behavior in contrast to their normally reserved demeanor.
Trivia
- "Papaltine" has multiple valid pronunciations: the first "a" can be sounded as in paper or in apple.
- Papaltine has no intrinsic gender. Papaltine can be addressed using any identifier as long as it is non-ambiguous in its target within the context of a conversation. This page consistently uses "they" to refer to Papaltine as a matter of intelligibility.
