The Glue Tool is a tool that can be used to either bake or combine multiple items together.
Where to get the tool
The Glue Tool can be found in the Resonite Essentials public folder that every new user starts with in their inventory. While in desktop mode the user can also press 9 on their keyboard to equip the tool.
Using the tool
The Glue Tool can be equipped like any other standard tool.
While the Glue Tool is equipped, your context menu will gain options to allow you to switch between the different modes:
- Parent objects: Parent objects will parent all objects within the glue bubble to a single parent.
- Bake meshes: Bake meshes will bake all meshes within the glue bubble to a single asset.
- Bake skinned meshes: Bake skinned meshes will bake multiple skinned meshes in a single asset.
