A session can also be made ''hidden'' by ticking the "Don't show in session lists" box. A hidden world will not appear in the World tab and will show as a "hidden" world in the Contacts tab. A session is an instance of a world. Users can join a session to socialize and work together.
A session has exactly one host; if the host quits the game, the session will close.
Properties
Admins can configure the session they are in via the Dash Menu.
The access level of a session determines who is allowed to join the session.
Access Level | Description |
---|---|
Anyone | No restrictions |
Registered | Logged-in users may join |
Contacts+ | Contacts of any user in the world may join |
Contacts | Contacts of the host may join |
LAN | The session may only be joined by people on the same network as the host |
Private (invite only) | People explicitly invited by the host may join |
A session can also be made hidden by ticking the "Don't show in session lists" box. A hidden world will not appear in the World tab and will show as a "hidden" world in the Contacts tab. This prevents users from joining unless they have some way to get access to the session. This includes invites and session links.
