The Dash Menu (or Dashboard) is where many essential menus for interacting with Resonite can be found, it only exists in the Userspace.
It can be opened by pushing the menu button on the controller, or Esc in screen mode.
Top bar
The top bar is always visible, and contains some important controls and information. From left to right:
- The Voice mode facet changes your voice mode and visualizes your mic audio
- The Clock facet shows your current local time
- The FPS facet shows a graph of your current frame rate
- The Sync status facet shows your current cloud sync activity, if any
- The Leave world facet allows you to leave the currently focused session (except for your local home)
Bottom bar
The bottom bar of your dash is also always visible. Each icon will select a different tab in the dashboard, which will open in the large central area.

Home
The Home tab contains many useful bits of information, provides access to many important tools and quick shortcuts, and has a lot of free space for any additional facets you may want to add.

The Worlds tab is your gateway to the many worlds of Resonite, as well as the way to see what sessions you're currently in, or are available to join.
Session and World previews are shown in the square grid. To the left, filters can be applied to narrow down this list. At the top, a search bar lets you filter by name, and the top-right has forward and back arrows to navigate this list.
The Contacts tab shows all of your contacts, allows you to search through them, find new contacts, see what sessions your contacts are in, and send direct messages.
The Inventory tab allows you to browse, save, and spawn objects and avatars to your personal or group inventories.

- Inventories: Switch between inventories if you have access to multiple ones (for example, group storage)
- Share: Set a folder as shared if it's owned by you and create a physical link item
- Unshare: Disable sharing on your own shared folder
- Get URL: Copy the record URL of the selected item to your clipboard
- Delete: Delete an item or folder; requires a second click for confirmation
- Save Avatar: Save your current avatar in the current folder (the folder needs to be writeable to you)
- Create Folder: Create a new folder; will ask for a folder name
- Breadcrumbs: Current path; NONE in the image
- Folder contents: The contents of the folder you're in; only has Resonite Essentials in the image
The session tab contains settings and information about the session you're currently in. It is broken up into three sub-menus, which are accessible by three buttons at the top: Settings, Users, and Permissions.
Settings Menu
The Settings menu allows you to change settings for the session you're currently in, including its name, description, and access controls, among others. You can also save the world, or spawn out session or world orbs to save or share with others.

Users
The Users menu lists off all the users in the current session, including yourself. Here you can control local settings about each user and perform session moderation actions.
- Username and badges: Click to view the user on the contacts tab
- Volume slider: Set the local voice volume of this user
- Mute: Locally mute the user
- Jump: Teleport yourself to the user
- Respawn: Respawn the user
- Silence: Globally mute the user
- Kick: Remove the user from the session
- Ban: Ban the user from the world
Permissions
The Permissions menu allows you to see and adjust permission levels of users in the world, and also set the default permission level for newly-joining users.

Desktop

The Desktop tab allows you to see and control your Desktop.
The Files tab allows you to browse the drives on your local computer to import or export things.

The Settings tab allows you to change many of Resonite's settings.
Migration
The Migration tab allows you to merge other Resonite accounts into your current account. It was also used for migrating data from prior platforms, such as the Durian beta test.
Exit
- Exit & Save Homes: Quit the game while saving your local and cloud homes
- Exit & Discard Homes: Quit the game without saving your local and cloud homes
- Supporter shout-outs: Shows a subset of users who have Subscribed.
- Exit message: Will say "Thank you for using Resonite!" or a randomly-selected subscriber exit message.
Customization
Customizing the dash can be done using UI Edit Mode.
