Resonite Tools and Settings

  • Whisper Bubble: A voice mode in Resonite that allows the user to privately talk to another user in a close distance, while also adjusting the surrounding audio to a quieter volume.
  • Earmuff Mode: An audio setting in Resonite that allows the user to hear better to users that are in front of them.
  • Motion Blur: A graphical post process setting that eases the smoothness of the screen in Desktop Mode while running Resonite.
  • Installable Resonite Shield: An installer that allows you to add safeties to your avatar, such as anti-knockback, anti-anchor, and anti-scale.
  • Locomotion Modes: Some locomotion moduels are provided to you by Resonite, built in to the platform. Also the community has made custom locomotion moduels for custom movement. For people that get motion sick easily, look into the component TeleportLocomotion.

  • Mute Helper: An item, once eaten, allows the user to type out messages for other users to read in a world.

Translators

  • VEX's Translator: A translation tool made by Vex that uses a chromium web browser to listen to your microphone, then generates the words you say into a text form. This is read into Resonite and other users can see the translated text.
  • Sloppy Speaky: A tool made by Sloppy McFloppy that allows for real time speech-to-text, combined with the Resonite Voice Bridge.

  • Onan's Sound Crusher Mod: A mod created by 989onan for detecting the loudness of a sound dynamically, and then adjusting it automatically (currently not being developed...)

External Tools

  • Resonite Voice Bridge: Allows a user to set up speech-to-text by talking through their microphone and browser, and then send strings of text to items that are listening through a WebSocket.
